"Hotter" colors represent areas more likely to draw attention based on being different from their surroundings. This is determined by comparing color opponencies, oriented spatial frequencies, linear motion, and luminances across multiple spatial scales.
You can select to view only a single feature channel (e.g. only red-green color opponency) by clicking on the corresponding filter from the drop-down menu on the top-right of the screen.
Portrait and landscape mode are available. Switching will rotate the camera as well.
You can record video (to your disk and shared camera roll), or take still photos.
